Kate Sussman Fischer is a Rhode Island based painter and art educator.  She has exhibited her work in galleries around Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Her body of work explores the tensions that places or locations create between and within people; paintings and drawings serve as her method of visually mapping and storytelling about sharing or dividing, as well as compromising within spaces.
